Question by Christopher Jellybean: Problems with internet explorer 7 and “Ecountered a problem” pop-up window????
I just reinstalled Xp and did a ton of updates. After i installed IE7 everytime i open a new tab then close it out it closes ALL of the EI7 and gives me the “Internet Explored encountered a problem and needs to close” BS. Yes I have Firefox AND opera. But my wife likes 7 and it gets annoying to hear her gripe I “did something to the computer” all the time. I’ve uninstalled it for now but this is the first time I’ve had problems with it…well like this. Any suggestions? No i don’t have a virus, I’ve only been to microsoft update site and dell for drivers. And my aniti-virus is up to date and shows nothing.
Nevermind.I figured it out -it was the Lexmark toolbar that was messing it up. I forgot that the version on the printers install disk did it .Have to use the one from the Lexmark Web Site!!

Use mozilla firefox instead.
